Male seiyuu Kakihara Tetsuya will be appearing as guest at this year’s Otakon. Kakki, as his fans call him, was born and bred in Dusseldorf, Germany until he went to Japan at age 18 to begin his training as a voice actor. Good thing he did too, as he is now an extremely prolific voice actor who has done many roles where he is the main protagonist. His television anime roles including Simon in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Natsu Dragneel in Fairy Tail, Tenma Pegasus in OVA Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Hayase Kouichi in Kurogane no Linebarrel, and Mikoto Yutaka in Princess Princess.
He also has a record label with Lantis as an artist and is an active member of the Kiramune Music Festival events each year.
