More Guest of Honors to Attend Anime Expo 2012

Horikawa Ryou

Five more guests have been announced today on the Anime Expo website. Veteran seiyuu Horikawa Ryou, seiyuu Koyama Rikiya, and seiyuu Okamoto Nobuhiko will apparently all appear at this year’s convention, as well as Fate/Zero anime producer, Kondo Hikaru, and Fate/Zero anime director, Aoki Ei. So this year’s AX will have a Fate/Zero theme, with three of the five guests just announced as part of the cast and production of the anime. Now we’re only missing Kawasumi Ayako as the voice of Saber.

Horikawa Ryou, a long time veteran in the voice-acting industry since 1984, has voiced roles that we all as children have come to love and know. Among his numerous roles in almost thirty years in the business, his most popular roles include Vegeta in the Dragon Ball series, Hattori Heiji in Meitantei Conan, the original Andromeda Shun in Saint Seiya, and Nikaido Nozomu in Maison Ikkoku.

Koyama Rikiya

Koyama Rikiya is both an actor and a voice actor. His voice acting roles include Emiya Kiritsugu in Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night, Takamura Mamoru in Hajime no Ippo, Wolverine in the Marvel anime, Shinigami in Soul Eater, and Leonard in Angelique Etoile. He has done many Japanese dub and voice-over roles such as Crush in Finding Nemo, Doug Ross in ER, Neo in the Matrix movies, Boromir in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Quinn in Reign of Fire.

Okamoto Nobuhiko aka “Pikorin”

Okamoto Nobuhiko, affectionately known as “Pikorin” by his fans (and Shikorin by various others due to an inside joke) has been in the seiyuu industry since 2006 and has been a pretty prolific in roles since 2009. His most notable roles include Kashino Makoto in Yumeiro Patissiere, Usui Takumi in Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Niizuma Eiji in Bakuman, Mutou Tooru in Shiki, Shouta Kisa in Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Hisaya Miki in Beezlebub, Ivan Karelin/Origami Cyclone in Tiger & Bunny, and Okumura Rin in Ao no Exorcist.

Kondo Hikaru, producer of the Fate/Zero anime, was the producer for animes Trouble Chocolate, Kara no Kyoukai, and Futakoi Alternative.
